Okay, hopefully you have all received my email. Come back. I am so much in my own way. If you've spoken to me and I think I have talked to you all, the first yoga attempt was a disaster. I never made it onto the mat. But, it also was a huge turning point.
Today, I started with a glass of water. I opened my bluish green envelope with my name and personal note dated August 2012 including my book mark for modified push ups. I did 15 modified on the wall.
When I wrote out my list of things to do today as usual, the very first thing I wrote was ME. I colored my hair. What did you do for yourself today?
I am attaching a copy of the water chart to your email
REMEMBER, REMEMBER
The first hint was when Jodie said "oh looks like you've got your life on tract" (because I now have a husband and kids) you used to give Colleen and I so much to talk about. I was living my life!
I am not starting the mirror, scale or tape measure until February 15.
We were all doing and feeling so great. Let's get those healthy feelings back.
Hope to see us all here. Have a great day. Love, Sister 6

Yoga Yoga
Well, I almost made it. I stopped in the morning and the girl at the desk told me the clothing to wear. The time. I asked if people take certain spots. Got the low down so to speak and off I went home to get dressed and retrieve the new mat that has been in the corner for over a month now. I chickened out. The pants I was wearing kept slipping under my big belly and the shirt was wrinkled. I did throw on one of those bad sweatshirts and went to the treadmill. Monday is my next goal for Yoga.
I did however go to the Potomac Bead Company. I have wanted to do this. My goal is to step into uncomfortable places for myself. As I said to the woman "I grew up in the 60's so of course I loved beads and macramé" I am going to take some classes and learn about jewelry making. My son made a comment all the naysayers. I have learned to fight them off. Actually, they bounce off with a little tee hee these days.
Sisters, Sisters where do you roam. I hope you are all taking care of your health or at least trying today.

argghhhhhh!
I am my own worst enemy! I think I need a vacation! It's hard to live with other people who can have all the junk around in your face. If you didn't have it you wouldn't eat it! Will power is just not that easy.

Shoveling?
I hope shoveling counts as exercise because I am about to brace the freezing cold. I have to dig our my and mom's car's. Where are those boys you ask. Alas, asleep. But, they have their share of shoveling in the future. Maybe low cal soup for lunch when I come in. Kim, you must be a very busy bee yourself.

A NEW YEAR!
Never have I been one to mark the new year in the way I feel this new year. I am so full of hope. And, this morning the SLOW downward movement of the scale. 148. I know this is painful to read but it sure feels good to know things are moving in the right direction.
My job which probably helps keep that middle age spread down is killing my feet physically. Yet my $1500 oil bill for probably 5 weeks of heat- most escaping the 60 something windows keeps me plodding along.
My theme this year is to try to recapture or prioritize my creativity.
I hope you girls are feeling light. Enjoy your day!
